I am from a town very close to Glacier National Park. The town's name is Whitefish. Let me know if you would like someone from the area to show you some of the better places people dont know a lot about. There is a lot more to the Flathead Valley than just Glacier Park. You should look into Flathead Lake. Its the biggest freshwater lake west of the Great Lakes, and since your trip is going along the great lakes, you may want to see it.
